About Us
Jockey Club Bright Start Project
Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the Bright Start Project is organised by Hong Kong Christian Service (HKCS) and driven by Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE).
Objectives
The Bright Start project is a three-year educational enhancement project organised by the Hong Kong Christian Services (HKCS) and driven by Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE). Supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the project aims to develop a high-quality child-care centre (CCC) model through providing a holistic support to both child care workers and parents.
Our Partners
We work with a range of partners who share the same vision as us to build a better learning environment for children in Hong Kong. We have designed a strategic partnership model with different partners focusing on different areas in order to maximize value and efficiency.
The objectives are to:
- Streamline child care centres’ administration process
- Develop an extensive 0-3 curriculum framework for holistic child development
- Build capacity of child care centres to deliver quality educare
- Strengthen engagement and knowledge of families
Seven centres will be selected to run a pilot with a goal to introduce and implement this model to all child care centres in Hong Kong in the future.
