Building a Lifelong Growth and Independence in Children Through Setting Boundaries

As parents, interacting with our children is a lifelong process, though the modes of communication and support change at different stages. If we can better understand ourselves—recognizing our own strengths, weaknesses, and blind spots—and map out a blueprint for our children’s future growth, we will be able to establish clear boundaries for both ourselves and our children, with each person taking responsibility for their own development. The ultimate goal of parents is to enable our children to independently plan their lives as they grow, enjoy the journey’s joys and challenges, and face the future with confidence. This talk primarily focuses on the exploration of concepts and perspectives, aiming to provide a deeper understanding of the parent-child relationship.
