The first Public Talk of the Jockey Club “Bright Start” Project was well received. A big thank you to all of you who showed support! Our second Public Talk will discuss school readiness for kindergarten. How can parents get ready for their children to be ready for school under the pandemic? We have invited a kindergarten principal with over thirty years of early childhood education to share with us tips and advice for school readiness. Parents and Child Care Workers are welcome to join.
Time: 10:00am-12:00noon
Format: Online

Holding the little hand of your children to welcome a new life in the kindergarten, there are both excitement and worry in the process.
“How does my child learn in kindergarten?”, “How can I make my child happy in school?”, “How can I adjust to the feeling of being separated from my child?”, “How can I communicate with a teacher whom I do not know?” You may wish to ask questions, listen and express more to make yourself more confident to help your child integrate into the new stage of growth.
